Just six years after playing non-league football in France, Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder and Moroccan international Romain Saiss made his Premier League debut.
The 29-year-old also had the chance to reach an FA Cup final, when Wolves played Watford, which no Moroccan has ever won. Unfortunately Romain didn’t get the chance to play in a FA Cup final this time, but his rapid rise from non-league to Premier League is a remarkable achievement.
